1- As a calcium carbide reducing agent, its low ash, low aluminum, low phosphorus, and high resistivity significantly reduce energy consumption, save costs, and improve product quality.
2- In fertilizer gasification feedstock, the low ash and low sulfur characteristics of semi-coke help increase gas production rate, reduce ash and slag emissions, and decrease the amount of gas desulfurization required, thereby achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, and improved gas quality.
3- As a ferroalloy reducing agent, using semi-coke in ferroalloy production can achieve a 10% reduction in power consumption compared to metallurgical coke, saving 300 to 500 kWh of electricity per ton of product, while also saving 70 to 90 kg of coke, and increasing single-furnace output by more than 10%.
4- As a blast furnace injection agent in steel plants, several domestic steel companies have conducted experiments on using semi-coke to replace anthracite as a blast furnace injection feedstock, showing that semi-coke outperforms currently used pulverized blast furnace coal.
